Emma Thiessen


Emma Thiessen has been working with South Australia’s interior designers, architects and hospitality venue owners providing commercial furniture solutions for more than 20 Years.

Her background in both sales and service combine perfectly to provide top-level service to 1000 Chair customers. Her passion for furniture and interior spaces has led to the representation of Australia’s bespoke manufacturers with cutting edge design, timeless furniture companies, supplying both contemporary and traditional designs to a broad cross-section of venues.

Emma works closely with her clients to source the right products, and assist with custom-made designs where necessary. Her affiliation with local South Australian and Australian furniture designers and manufacturers is of high importance and allows the process of custom production at an effective price point while supporting local industry. 1000 Chairs values quality product and excellence in service above all else.

Raised in the farming community the Murray Mallee in South Australia, Emma has a strong connection to the land and nature as a result.

She is extremely passionate about promoting and supporting local Australian furniture designers and manufacturers and bringing awareness in the community on the topic of supporting local where possible and on education in relation to the devastation that replica and copy products have on the industry as a whole.

Danielle Duvoisin


Danielle has worked in the fine furniture industry for thirty years. Studying furniture design and fabrication in New York state and at the Jam Factory in Adelaide in the 1990’s, she went on to establish a practice in Los Angeles, designing custom furniture for private clients. Returning to Adelaide in 2010 with her husband and two children, Danielle continued her involvement in the fine furniture arena with rolls in design, production and sales.

Appreciating that furniture is an intrinsic component of being human in the built environment, Danielle enjoys working closely with design practices, retail customers and hospitality clientele alike. Helping them find beautiful furniture and lighting that relates to and improves her clients’ commercial and residential spaces, she provides detailed and caring service throughout the process.

Nicole Puttnins


Nicole has come to 1K Chairs with a keen design eye and attention to detail.
Having completed her Bachelor of Interior Architecture in 2016 and gaining employment in the building industry for the past 3 years , she has a robust knowledge of all facets of the design and build process.
Nicole has a passion for sustainable practices and products along with a love of all things interiors and design and is keen to share her flair and innovative style with the 1K community.
